Sarape Care
By the very nature of how they are made, Mexican Sarapes will tend to curl at the corners. It's the nature of the beautiful beast. To make the best presentation of your Mexican Sarapes, whatever the size, lay them flat on a table with books at the corners overnight. To make a really good impression, lightly press with a warm iron, using care to not melt those made of acrylic fibers. Of course, you should always straighten the fringe with your fingers. A time-consuming task, but very impressive!
To clean your Mexican Sarapes, wash by hand in warm, soapy water and drip-dry. Many Sarapes are not color-fast.
